Featuring an ECG (electrocardiogram) accurate sensor, the transmitter is fully water-resistant, making it suitable for all weather conditions.
The Polar T31 coded transmitter is compatible with a wide range of heart rate monitors, including the FT1, FT2, FT4, FT7, FT40, FT60, FT80, RS100, RS300X, RS400, and RCX5. This coded version prevents crosstalk from other electronic devices, ensuring complete accuracy in your heart rate readings.
Built to withstand up to 2,500 hours of training usage, the transmitter belt includes a sealed transmitter and an elastic strap that works with all current Polar wrist-top computers, except the CS600 and RS800.

Getting started with your Polar T31 Coded Transmitter is straightforward. For optimal performance, thoroughly moisten the back electrode areas with water and adjust the strap to fit snugly but comfortably. Ensure the moist electrodes are firmly against your skin, with the Polar logo in the upright position.
After your workout, remove the transmitter, rinse it with water, and dry it with a soft towel. Never store the transmitter wet, in a damp environment, or in any non-breathable material, as sweat and moisture can keep the electrodes wet and the heart rate sensor activated, shortening the battery life. Store the transmitter in a cool and dry place.
