To use the strap, simply connect the provided connector to the strap and adjust the length to fit snugly, but comfortably, around your chest.
Proper Strap Placement and Fit For optimal heart rate signal detection, follow these steps: 1. Moisten the plastic electrode areas on the reverse side of the strap. If the strap has textile electrodes, wet them under running water. 2. Attach the connector to the strap and adjust the length to fit tightly but comfortably around your chest, just below the chest muscles. 3. Tie the strap around your chest and attach the hook to the other end. 4. Ensure that the moist electrode areas are firmly against your skin and that the Polar logo on the connector is in a central and upright position.
Strap Sizing Options The Heart Rate Monitors USA Replacement Soft Strap is available in three size ranges to accommodate a variety of body types: - XSmall-Small: 22 to 33 inches - Medium-XXLarge: 28 to 52 inches - XXXLarge: 42 to 77 inches
To determine the appropriate size, measure the circumference of your chest just below the pectoral muscles or breasts.
Please note that this strap does not work with the Garmin Premium Heart Rate Sensor.
